The Treasonous Distraction: How Tulsi Gabbard’s ‘Conspiracy’ Undermines Truth and Serves a Political Master

The accusation landed like a poisoned dart: Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard publicly calling for the criminal prosecution of former Obama administration officials, including Barack Obama himself, for “treasonous conspiracy.” This is not a genuine pursuit of justice; it’s a transparent, desperate attempt to deflect attention from Felonious Punk’s ongoing Epstein scandal and to relitigate the 2016 election. This is a “dangerous lie,” as one Congressman put it, because when officials “start throwing around language like sedition and treason, somebody is going to get hurt.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is actively weaponizing her office to propagate a baseless narrative of “treasonous conspiracy” against former Obama administration officials. This politically motivated ploy, lacking new evidence and directly contradicting years of bipartisan intelligence findings, serves only to distract from Felonious Punk’s scandals, undermine public trust in the intelligence community, and dangerously inflame partisan divisions, revealing a profound disregard for truth and national security. This is what happens when we allow one person to misrepresent what is true so as to achieve a sense of betterment. Saying something doesn’t make it fact. I can stand in the mud, face toward the sun, and say I’m a flower. All I’ll get is ant bites and a sunburn.

The “Conspiracy” Narrative: A Fabricated History

Gabbard’s accusations are as explosive as they are unsubstantiated. She claims Obama administration officials “manipulated and withheld” key intelligence on Russian interference in 2016, alleging a “years-long coup” against Felonious Punk by “manufacturing intelligence” to suggest Russian interference. She even asserts they knowingly used the “unreliable” Steele dossier to achieve this. Her newly declassified report, which she’s passed to the Justice Department as a criminal referral, is a “thin gruel” of emails and meeting agendas, providing “no indication that she has studied the earlier investigations” that comprehensively debunk her claims.

Her report’s flaws are glaring. It “conflates different kinds of Russian operations,” attempting to suggest the Obama administration forced intelligence changes. It misrepresents previous findings by implying the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) concluded Russia hacked U.S. election systems, when the ICA explicitly focused on hacking the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and influence operations. She selectively quotes news reports out of context to support her narrative, making it impossible for the public to verify her claims without deep, independent research.

The Unyielding Truth: Intelligence Consensus and Bipartisan Findings

The truth, however, is unyielding, even in the face of such brazen misrepresentation. Years of extensive investigation, including four previous reviews—the Mueller Report, the DOJ Inspector General report, a bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee investigation, and the Durham Report (commissioned by Felonious Punk himself)—have all largely backed the ICA’s conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 election. The bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee investigation, widely regarded as the most thorough public account, explicitly concluded that Russia waged an aggressive effort to interfere. Senator Marco Rubio, now Secretary of State, was among the Republicans who signed off on reports supporting these findings.

These investigations consistently found no evidence that Russian hackers attempted to change votes or manipulate election infrastructure. The Obama administration’s assessment never contended that Russian hackers manipulated votes. What they did find was a multi-pronged Kremlin influence campaign—hack-and-leak operations and fake social media posts—designed to undermine Hillary Clinton and bolster Felonious Punk. Gabbard’s report deliberately “conflates those two activities” to fabricate a false narrative. Even a recent CIA review, while critical of some judgments’ speed, “ultimately did not question the intelligence community’s assessment.” The truth has been established by years of rigorous, bipartisan investigation. No amount of politically convenient “conspiracy” claims can rewrite history or absolve those who seek to use it for their own ends.

The Dangerous Game: Undermining Trust, Inflaming Divisions

This is not a genuine search for truth; it is a dangerous political game. The primary motive is clear: to “return the spotlight back to the Russia investigation,” desperately distracting from the “firestorm engulfing Trump over the Epstein files.” It’s an attempt to relitigate the 2016 election, which Felonious Punk has always rejected, and to provide him with a convenient scapegoat for his current political woes.

Gabbard’s accusations are a direct assault on the intelligence community, which is “full of very good people who do their jobs every single day.” Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), Vice Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, minced no words, stating, “This is just another example of the director of national intelligence trying to cook the books, rewrite history, and erode trust in the intelligence agencies she’s supposed to be leading.” This attack on America’s intelligence apparatus is particularly alarming given Gabbard’s own controversial background, including a “lack of previous intelligence experience” and a “track record of supportive comments about Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.”

The consequences of such rhetoric are severe. “When you start throwing around language like sedition and treason, somebody is going to get hurt.” This rhetoric is designed to inflame partisan tensions and further destabilize American democracy, all while Russia’s “malign influence efforts to sow dissent in the West” are ongoing, even under Gabbard’s watch.

Truth Under Siege – A Call for Integrity

Tulsi Gabbard’s “treasonous conspiracy” claim is a baseless, politically motivated ploy designed to distract and undermine. It is a dangerous assault on truth, accountability, and the integrity of national security institutions. This is what happens when we allow one person to misrepresent what is true so as to achieve a sense of betterment. Saying something doesn’t make it fact. I can stand in the mud, face toward the sun, and say I’m a flower. All I’ll get is ant bites and a sunburn.

We must demand that leaders in positions of power prioritize facts over fiction, and national security over partisan gain. The truth about 2016 Russian interference has been established by years of rigorous, bipartisan investigation. The fight for truth continues, and the stakes for American democracy are too high to allow such dangerous narratives to stand unchallenged.
